- • Manage the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts, including proposal support, award, execution, modification, and closeout.
- • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and other commercial agreements.
- • Interpret and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and customer-specific contractual requirements.
- • Partner with Business Development and Capture teams to analyze solicitations, identify contractual risks, and support proposal submissions for government and defense contracts.
- • Advise Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal teams on contractual obligations, deliverables, change orders, and compliance requirements during program execution.
- • Coordinate cross-functionally to resolve contractual disputes, negotiate favorable business terms, and align contractual language with operational and financial constraints.
- • Maintain accurate contract records, reporting systems, and internal controls to support audits, regulatory compliance, and government inspections.
- • Develop and implement scalable contract management processes to support Havoc AI’s rapid growth in the defense and aerospace technology sector.
- • Provide guidance on contract types including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time and Materials (T&M), and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
- • Support proposal development by ensuring contractual terms are aligned with technical solutions, pricing models, and compliance obligations.
- • Monitor and manage export control regulations including ITAR and EAR, and ensure adherence in all contractual arrangements.
- • Contribute to the establishment of DCAA-compliant financial and contractual controls within the organization.
- • Identify and mitigate contractual risks across all stages of the contract lifecycle while balancing business objectives with regulatory requirements.
- • Collaborate with Legal to ensure contract language protects company interests and aligns with corporate policies and risk tolerance.
- • Support contract closeout activities including final deliverables verification, invoice reconciliation, and documentation archiving.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving federal contracting regulations and industry best practices in defense contracting.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual matters across internal teams and external government and commercial partners.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, Law, or a related field
- • 7+ years of experience managing government contracts within the defense, aerospace, or federal technology sectors
- • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and common U.S. Government contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ)
- • Experience supporting proposal development, contract negotiations, and program execution
- • Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
