- • Build and maintain conversational AI agents using Google Dialogflow CX and Vertex AI Agent Builder, contributing to dialogue flows, fulfillment logic, and agent configurations.
- • Support the development of agentic workflows by designing multi-step, tool-using agents that reason and act across systems to resolve customer queries.
- • Assist in building, testing, and iterating on agent capabilities using the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) under the guidance of senior engineers.
- • Analyse conversational data and real customer interaction patterns to identify user engagement trends and surface insights for improving the customer experience.
- • Contribute to testing and quality assurance of conversational flows and agentic pipelines, identifying and resolving errors or unexpected behaviours.
- • Assist in the analysis of performance metrics and conversational data to support continuous improvement of AI-driven customer interactions.
- • Collaborate with Conversation Designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure technical implementations align with intended design and business objectives.
- • Participate in team ceremonies including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning sessions, clearly communicating progress and raising blockers.
- • Stay current with developments in agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), and the broader conversational AI landscape, sharing learnings through team show-and-tells or internal channels.
- • Apply software engineering best practices to develop and maintain scalable AI systems, including version control, documentation, and modular code design.
- • Integrate AI agents with backend systems and external tools via REST APIs and webhooks to enable dynamic, context-aware responses.
- • Work within a cloud-based environment, primarily on Google Cloud Platform, to deploy and monitor AI workflows using CI/CD practices.
- • Contribute to the refinement of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and orchestration logic for LLM applications beyond basic API calls.
- • Engage with team members to improve system reliability, accuracy, and scalability of AI-powered customer support across digital and contact centre channels.
- • Learn and apply best practices in agent configuration, entity recognition, intent classification, and dialogue management within conversational platforms.
- • Support the team’s mission to deliver intelligent, seamless, and scalable customer experiences as loveholidays expands its presence across Europe.
🎯 Requirements
- • Foundational understanding of conversational AI concepts including intents, entities, dialogue management, and fulfillment
- • Strong programming proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or another programming language with solid software engineering practices
- • Experience building virtual agents on platforms such as Google Dialogflow CX, Vertex AI Agent Builder, Amazon Lex, or Rasa
- • Strong awareness of REST APIs and webhooks for connecting AI agents to backend and external systems
- • Familiarity with cloud deployment environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform, and CI/CD practices for AI workflows
- • Willingness to learn and grow in agentic AI, LLM orchestration, and modern conversational AI technologies
