- • Sell merchant services and payment solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) within the UK, focusing initially on London, the South East, and South West regions.
- • Generate new business sales through self-sourced prospecting, outbound sales activities, and leveraging existing professional networks.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with lead and referral partners to consistently source new sales opportunities.
- • Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from initial customer engagement through to deal closure, for acquiring services and payment solutions.
- • Achieve and exceed agreed targets for new customer acquisition and revenue generation, which are the primary performance metrics for this role.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline data and forecasting within company-approved systems and processes.
- • Operate as a self-starter with full ownership of personal performance, continuously identifying new market opportunities and innovative routes to market.
- • Conduct in-person sales engagements with SMB clients across the assigned geographical territory.
- • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to risk management, ethics, and compliance, including the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011.
- • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience when adapting to changing priorities, market conditions, or evolving business needs.
- • Collaborate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders, prioritizing team goals over individual agendas while fostering an inclusive and transparent work environment.
- • Communicate clearly and persuasively across verbal, written, and non-verbal channels with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- • Maintain a strong commitment to ethical conduct, integrity, and trust in all professional interactions.
- • Continuously seek to understand Elavon’s products, services, and business model to effectively represent and sell its payment solutions.
- • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to balance multiple sales activities, client meetings, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- • Comply with the Fitness and Probity Regime requirements as this role is classified as a Controlled Function (CF 4).
