📋 Description

• Join the corporate governance legal team at Kraken, a mission-driven crypto company dedicated to accelerating global adoption of blockchain technology and financial inclusion through secure, innovative products.
• Manage and advise on corporate governance requirements across international jurisdictions, including organizing board meetings, maintaining statutory registers, guiding board composition, and ensuring compliance with annual returns and statutory obligations.
• Collaborate with business executives, tax, HR, treasury, compliance, and finance teams to support corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and securities matters in multiple jurisdictions.
• Contribute to building scalable legal processes, playbooks, and organizational structure while supporting corporate development initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
• Provide legal guidance on policies required by the Board and manage the lifecycle of subsidiary entities, including international registration, regulatory compliance, and ongoing governance.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of dedicated experience supporting boards and board governance, including advising on statutory obligations, board composition, meeting management, and governance best practices
• 6+ years of overall corporate/companies law experience focused on corporate governance, including in-house and law-firm roles, preferably in a regulated industry
• Admitted to practice law in any jurisdiction
