• • Spearhead all financial activities within Australia/New Zealand, taking ownership of the country's financial health and strategic direction.

• • Oversee and meticulously manage all accounting functions, ensuring adherence to local regulations and international financial standards.
• • Drive improvements in period-end closing processes, aiming for greater efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
• • Prepare and manage all ledger entries with precision, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
• • Oversee and ensure the accurate preparation of payroll, tax benefits, and contributions reports, liaising with regulatory bodies such as social security tax authorities, insurance providers, and pension companies.
• • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions, banking activities, customer accounts, vendor payables, and accruals, guaranteeing the accuracy and compliance of financial statements.
• • Monitor day-to-day financial transactions diligently, maintaining up-to-date financial records and books.
• • Prepare comprehensive financial and administrative reports, providing critical insights to stakeholders and management.
• • Ensure the timely and accurate submission of all required tax filings, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Social Security contributions, and any other relevant local taxes.
• • Collaborate closely with the local Payroll Manager to ensure the accuracy of payroll calculations, providing guidance and oversight.
• • Play a key role in the selection and integration of payroll software, optimizing the payroll process for efficiency and compliance.
• • Proactively address and resolve any issues related to payroll information and reporting, maintaining a high level of accuracy and employee satisfaction.
• • Act as the primary financial point of contact for the Australia/New Zealand region, building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• • Contribute to the development and implementation of internal financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
