  • • As a Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) at Taktile Technologies Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making for leading fintech and banking institutions. This pivotal role places you at the forefront of our sales cycle, acting as the crucial first point of contact for prospective clients and laying the groundwork for Taktile's ambitious global expansion.
  • • Your primary mission will be to generate a high-quality sales pipeline by identifying and engaging with target companies and leads that align with our ideal customer profile. This involves a strategic blend of proactive outreach and responsive engagement with inbound leads generated through marketing efforts.
  • • You will be responsible for conducting thorough research to pinpoint potential clients, understanding their unique challenges, and determining how Taktile's AI-powered decision engine can provide transformative solutions. This requires a deep dive into the fintech, financial services, data, ML, and AI industries to grasp market dynamics and client needs.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve sourcing and qualifying outbound leads, employing established qualification frameworks such as PACTT to ensure we are engaging with genuinely interested and viable prospects. Simultaneously, you will triage and qualify inbound leads, ensuring no opportunity is missed and that each prospect receives timely and valuable attention.
  • • You will leverage essential sales tools, including Sales Navigator and HubSpot, to manage your prospecting workflow efficiently. This includes meticulously tracking your activities, nurturing leads, and ensuring a seamless handover of qualified opportunities to the sales team.
  • • A key responsibility is to set up Discovery meetings with the sales team, effectively communicating the prospect's needs and Taktile's value proposition to facilitate a smooth transition and maximize the chances of conversion.
  • • You will engage in daily exchanges with executives in the fintech and banking sectors, not only to present Taktile's solutions but also to gather valuable market insights. This interaction is a two-way street, allowing you to provide them with relevant industry intelligence while learning about their evolving business landscapes.
  • • Your role is critical in leaving a stellar impression of Taktile. As the initial touchpoint in a prospect's buying journey, your professionalism, insight, and ability to articulate Taktile's value will significantly influence their perception of our brand and product.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align strategies, share market intelligence, and ensure a cohesive approach to lead generation and nurturing. This cross-functional synergy is vital for building the foundations of Taktile's scalable global expansion.
  • • You will consistently meet or overachieve on activity metrics and monthly Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) targets, demonstrating a commitment to driving revenue growth and contributing to the company's success.
  • • Regular reporting to the Head of Business Development is expected, including participation in weekly 1:1 meetings and broader sales team discussions. This ensures transparency, allows for performance tracking, and provides opportunities for strategic guidance.
  • • Furthermore, you will provide crucial feedback on market insights to the Taktile management team. This intelligence is invaluable for refining our go-to-market positioning, product development, and overall sales playbook, directly impacting Taktile's strategic direction.
