📋 Description

• As a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer at Taktile Technologies Inc., you will be instrumental in driving the successful implementation and adoption of our cutting-edge AI solutions within financial institutions. This pivotal role places you at the forefront of our customer engagements, where you will own the complete technical lifecycle of AI deployments, from initial customer onboarding through to the delivery of robust, production-grade AI systems that generate tangible business value.
• You will be responsible for leading complex AI-driven Taktile deployments in production environments. This involves owning the technical delivery across multiple concurrent projects, encompassing the entire spectrum from scoping high-impact Agentic AI use cases to ensuring their stable and effective operation in a live setting.
• Your day-to-day will involve leveraging your deep technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and creative thinking to help our clients overcome significant real-world challenges. This could range from architecting sophisticated solution designs and developing intricate decision logic, to deploying production-ready Generative AI agents. A crucial aspect of your role will be to align closely with key customer stakeholders, ensuring an outstanding client experience and achieving rapid time-to-value for Taktile’s innovative offerings.
• A core responsibility is the effective scoping of work, meticulous sequencing of delivery tasks, and proactive identification and removal of potential blockers. You will be adept at making informed trade-offs between project scope, delivery speed, and overall quality to guarantee successful and timely project completion.
• You will act as a vital bridge between our customers and our product development teams. By translating your in-depth understanding of customer needs and deployment challenges into actionable product insights, you will directly influence and shape the evolution of Taktile’s product roadmap, ensuring our solutions remain at the cutting edge.
• To foster organizational growth and consistency, you will contribute to the development of reusable resources, establish best practices, and create essential tools. This knowledge sharing will empower and scale the Forward Deployed Engineering function across the entire company.
• As a lead, you will actively coach and mentor junior Forward Deployed Engineers. Your guidance will be crucial in supporting their technical and professional development, fostering their success, and building a high-performing team.
• This role demands a proactive and strategic approach to technical leadership, ensuring that Taktile's AI solutions are not only implemented effectively but also drive significant and sustainable business outcomes for our clients.
• You will engage with customers to understand their unique business processes and identify opportunities where Taktile's AI capabilities can automate complex decisions, enhance risk management, improve customer onboarding, or optimize operational efficiency.
• You will be responsible for the technical validation of AI models and solutions, ensuring they meet performance, accuracy, and compliance requirements specific to the financial services industry.
• Collaborating with sales and account management teams, you will contribute to pre-sales technical discussions, helping to articulate the value proposition of Taktile's platform and solutions to prospective clients.
• You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during the deployment and operational phases of AI solutions, working closely with internal engineering and support teams.
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and the financial technology landscape is essential, allowing you to bring innovative ideas and solutions to your clients and the Taktile team.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of Taktile's deployment methodologies and tools, based on your field experience and insights.
• The role requires a blend of deep technical acumen, strong client-facing communication skills, and a strategic mindset focused on delivering measurable business impact through AI.
• You will be a key advocate for Taktile's technology, building trust and strong working relationships with technical teams and business leaders within client organizations.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience, including significant customer-facing responsibilities.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for production-grade development and review.
• Solid understanding and experience with REST API design and integrations.
• Proven ability to break down complex problems and make well-informed decisions under pressure.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both technical and business audiences.
