- • As a Credit and Collections Analyst at QuidelOrtho, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the company's financial health by managing credit operations and driving efficient collections. This position is crucial for increasing sales volume, contributing to profitability, enhancing customer stability, and ensuring the prompt turnover and protection of the company’s investment in accounts receivable.
- • You will be responsible for administering credit operations in strict accordance with corporate guidelines. This involves a proactive approach to managing customer accounts, ensuring that credit decisions are sound and aligned with company policies.
- • A key responsibility includes performing customer cash collections. This requires direct, professional communication with both external and internal customers to resolve outstanding balances and facilitate timely payments.
- • You will also provide essential support for cash application, ensuring that incoming payments are accurately and efficiently processed and allocated to the correct customer accounts.
- • The role involves gathering and analyzing reasonably up-to-date information on customers. This data will form the basis for informed decisions regarding individual orders and the overall creditworthiness of an account.
- • You will conduct thorough customer credit checks and perform regular delinquency reviews. This proactive monitoring helps mitigate risk and maintain a healthy accounts receivable portfolio.
- • A significant part of the role includes performing periodic credit reviews, actively monitoring customer accounts, and setting appropriate credit limits to balance sales opportunities with financial risk.
- • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial master data for all customers, ensuring the integrity of our customer database.
- • This position requires active participation in the monthly close process, ensuring that the Accounts Receivable (AR) is accurately and timely reported, complete with all necessary supporting documentation.
- • You will collaborate closely with internal partners across various functions, including customer service, treasury, and IT, to ensure seamless operations and effective problem-solving.
- • External partnerships are also vital, involving interactions with auditors, customers, distributors, and potentially federal government entities, requiring a high degree of professionalism and accuracy.
- • The role demands strong analytical skills, enabling you to make quick, calculated decisions in a dynamic environment. You must be able to perform effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a collaborative team.
- • You will leverage your expertise in SAP, and ideally S4/Hana, to manage financial data and processes efficiently.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential for reporting, analysis, and communication.
- • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are paramount for interacting with diverse stakeholders and presenting financial information clearly.
