📋 Description

• • As a Credit Risk Strategist on Stripe’s Risk Foundations team, you will play a critical role in managing risk across the user lifecycle to maximize enterprise value and enable safe, sustainable growth for millions of businesses globally.
• • Day to day, you will develop scalable methods to identify, measure, and control credit and fraud risks; translate complex requirements into technical specifications; collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to build data-driven systems; and become an expert on Stripe’s product ecosystem and its interaction with payment risks.
• • The Risk Foundations team is a small, high-leverage group focused on evaluating new opportunities, mitigating existential threats, and unlocking value through rigorous, nuanced, and intellectually humble problem-solving to power Stripe’s financial and partnership success.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in financial risk modeling, cross-functional leadership, and data-driven decision-making while shaping infrastructure that supports innovative businesses and impacts Stripe’s global merchant portfolio at scale.
