Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the critical first-mile of background screening by acting as the Criminal Records Coordinator who turns raw court data into trusted, compliant reports for Fortune 100 and Global 500 clients. Every search you process directly protects brands, employees, and communities.
- • Monitor live workflow dashboards for your assigned state(s) and instantly spot bottlenecks—delayed cases, missing documents, or supplier gaps—then orchestrate rapid fixes so 99 %+ of files move forward within SLA.
- • Perform deep-dive research across statewide repositories, county court portals, and proprietary databases; interpret criminal dockets, dispositions, and sentencing records to ensure each line item is accurate, complete, and formatted to First Advantage’s gold-standard specifications.
- • Review applicant-submitted statewide documentation (release forms, identifiers, fee payments) for completeness and compliance; reject or escalate incomplete packets within two business hours to keep turnaround times on track.
- • Build and nurture professional relationships with clerks, record custodians, and state-agency liaisons—your rapport often cuts retrieval times in half and unlocks obscure record sets that competitors cannot access.
- • Translate complex legal jargon into concise, customer-ready narratives; edit and redact according to FCRA, state, and client-specific rules so end-users receive clear, actionable intelligence without exposure to prohibited information.
- • Consistently exceed departmental metrics: 120 + cases closed per day with ≥ 99.5 % accuracy, zero critical client escalations, and a 24-hour average turnaround on flagged exceptions.
- • Collaborate daily with Customer Service, Quality Assurance, and Product teams to clarify jurisdictional quirks, refine SOPs, and pilot new automation tools that shave minutes off every search.
- • Champion continuous improvement by logging systemic delays, suggesting data-source enhancements, and beta-testing new AI-driven record-matching algorithms—your feedback shapes the next generation of First Advantage technology.
- • Maintain meticulous electronic case files and audit trails that stand up to SOC 2, ISO 27001, and client compliance reviews; your documentation is often cited as “exemplary” during external audits.
- • Thrive in a 100 % remote, high-volume environment where priorities shift with court closures, legislative changes, and client surge requests; your time-blocking and multitasking skills keep you calm and productive.
- • Bring empathy and cultural competence to every interaction—whether calming a nervous applicant or educating a rural clerk on electronic submission portals—embodying First Advantage’s commitment to fairness and inclusion.
- • Close each week knowing your precision and speed helped a healthcare system hire trustworthy nurses, a rideshare platform protect passengers, and a school district safeguard children.
