• • Shape the voice of one of the fastest-growing AI-powered crypto analytics platforms. As our Communications & PR Intern you will sit at the intersection of finance, technology and storytelling, translating complex blockchain data into headlines that move markets and minds.
• • Own the daily newsroom: monitor crypto Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Reddit and 30+ Tier-1/Tier-2 outlets for breaking stories, then draft rapid-response commentary that positions Token Metrics as the go-to source for data-driven insight.
• • Build and update a living media database of 500+ journalists, podcasters and YouTube influencers covering DeFi, NFTs, macro-crypto and AI; schedule introductory calls, send personalized pitches and track every interaction in HubSpot to grow our hit-rate from 8 % to 25 % within one quarter.
• • Draft press releases, media alerts and thought-leadership posts for the CEO, CTO and research team; turn 40-page institutional reports into 400-word op-eds that secure placements in CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, The Block, Forbes Crypto and Bloomberg Crypto.
• • Coordinate a global PR calendar that aligns product launches, index rebalances, AI-model upgrades and token-listing announcements with earnings seasons, Bitcoin halving events and major conferences; ensure no message conflicts and every story lands during peak engagement windows.
• • Support crisis comms: prepare holding statements, FAQ docs and social copy for potential flash-crashes, regulatory actions or smart-contract exploits; run 15-minute simulation drills with execs so the team can respond within the golden hour.
• • Produce monthly coverage books, sentiment analysis and share-of-voice dashboards; present findings to marketing, product and investment teams so they can refine messaging and identify new narrative white-space.
• • Collaborate with design to create media kits, one-pagers and GIF explainers that reporters can drop straight into stories, increasing the likelihood of inclusion by 3×.
• • Assist in securing speaking slots at Consensus, Token2049, ETHDenver, Permissionless and 10 regional meet-ups; handle CFP submissions, briefing docs and on-site media briefings that convert panels into headline opportunities.
• • Experiment with emerging channels: set up Token Metrics’ press presence on Farcaster, Lens and Web3-native news platforms, seeding exclusive data drops that generate backlinks and domain authority.
• • Champion ethical communications: fact-check every statistic, disclose AI-generated content and adhere to the Token Metrics editorial code, reinforcing trust in a market rife with hype.

� Requirements

• • 1–2 years of experience in PR, journalism, marketing or communications (internships, university papers, agency or DAO contributions count).
• • Native-level English with flawless AP-style writing; ability to turn a 50-word tweet into a 500-word article without losing clarity or voice.
• • Demonstrated interest in crypto—whether you’ve traded, DeFi’d, NFT’d or simply written about it; you can explain the difference between proof-of-work and proof-of-stake to a general reporter in two sentences.
• • Comfortable with remote, asynchronous collaboration across EST, GMT and SGT time zones; self-starter who can hit weekly KPIs without daily check-ins.
• • Nice-to-have: existing relationships with crypto reporters, basic Canva/Figma skills for quick graphics, familiarity with Cision/MuckRack or similar PR SaaS.
