📋 Description

• As a CTE Sales Specialist, you will drive sales of Career and Technical Education solutions across the Midwest territory, directly impacting student success by connecting educators with innovative learning tools that prepare learners for in-demand careers.
• Day to day, you will plan and prioritize sales activities, build and manage sales pipelines, develop strategic account plans, deliver virtual and in-person presentations, support course setup and digital activations, and use data to optimize territory engagement and resource allocation.
• You will join Cengage, a global education technology leader committed to inclusion, innovation, and empowering learners through affordable, high-quality digital solutions like MindTap and Cengage Unlimited, serving secondary, higher education, and workforce markets worldwide.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in CTE and ed tech sales, strengthen consultative selling and presentation skills, gain proficiency in Salesforce and ed tech platforms, and contribute to meaningful educational outcomes while advancing your career in a purpose-driven organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of successful sales, instructing, marketing, or customer interaction experience
• CTE, K-12, or ed tech sales or marketing experience
• Ability to travel 40-50% throughout assigned sales territory
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Workday, and other course technologies
• Ability to perform virtual and in-person presentations and training
