- • As a Curam Business Consultant at Merative, you will play a pivotal role in transforming health and social care operations by bridging business needs with technology solutions, directly impacting how global clients deliver services and improve outcomes through data-driven innovation.
- • You will collaborate with influential enterprises worldwide to analyze complex business challenges, design effective technology-enabled solutions, and ensure alignment with client goals, leveraging Merative’s 50+ year legacy in health and social care technology to drive measurable ROI and operational excellence.
- • Day to day, you will research, analyze, define, and document customer requirements, translating business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows that guide technical consultants in software development and implementation.
- • You will become a functional expert in Cúram products—particularly Universal Access, Evidence, Rules, and Outcome Management—by conducting demonstrations, performing fit/gap analyses, and advising on optimal solution approaches tailored to client contexts in health plans, government agencies, employers, and life sciences organizations.
- • You will serve as the primary point of contact for business-related inquiries, clarifying ambiguities and resolving issues by working closely with senior technical consultants, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- • You will act as a strategic liaison between design and development teams, facilitating discussions on technical approaches, evaluating trade-offs, and recommending solutions that balance feasibility, scalability, and business value.

- • You will bring 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst from large IT consulting firms or public sector agencies, with a proven track record in delivering technology-driven projects focused on process improvement and system implementation.
- • You possess hands-on experience with Cúram services delivery, including deep familiarity with Universal Access, Evidence, Rules, and Outcome Management modules, enabling you to immediately contribute to client engagements.
- • You demonstrate expert-level ability in business process analysis, including crafting user stories, mapping process flows, conducting gap analyses, and identifying optimization opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- • You have strong documentation skills, capable of producing clear, precise, and actionable business requirements that translate seamlessly into technical designs and development workflows.
- • You are skilled in evaluating delivery methodologies and advising teams on best practices grounded in measurable outcomes, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with client success metrics.
- • You have experience supporting teams in visualizing outcomes, prioritizing work, and delivering solutions that align with Minimum Viable Product (MVP) principles, sprint goals, and overall project scope.
- • You confidently facilitate cross-functional meetings involving clients, system integrators, and technical teams, ensuring productive dialogue, shared understanding, and timely decision-making.
- • You exhibit strong team-building, problem-resolution, and decision-making abilities, complemented by excellent interpersonal and leadership skills that foster trust and collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.
- • The company values candidates with a comprehensive understanding of how to implement and customize Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) functionality to meet unique business requirements without over-engineering.
- • Experience working with public sector clients on large-scale project delivery is highly desirable, reflecting familiarity with complex regulatory environments, stakeholder dynamics, and long-term implementation cycles.
