📋 Description
- • The Curriculum Specialist is a detail-oriented educational professional responsible for the design, development, revision, and alignment of curriculum and instructional materials.
- • This role focuses on executing high-quality curriculum builds and updates based on data-driven decision-making, accreditation requirements, and evolving regulatory standards.
- • Working under the guidance of the Curriculum Manager or Director of Curriculum & Instruction, the Curriculum Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that all course content is instructionally sound, standards-aligned, and compliant with state, national, and accreditation expectations.
- • This role requires strong writing skills, precision in standards alignment, and the ability to translate academic and regulatory requirements into clear, engaging instructional materials.
- • In addition, the Curriculum Specialist supports faculty-related processes, including hiring, onboarding, and ongoing professional learning, to ensure strong alignment between curriculum design and instructional delivery.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field.
- • 2+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.
- • Strong writing and communication skills.
- • Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform curriculum decisions.
- • Experience with accreditation and regulatory standards.
