- • As a Customer Account Executive at Tailscale, you will play a key role in expanding and renewing customer accounts within a fast-growing Developer Security company, focusing on identifying new use cases, educating clients on product features, and driving successful adoption of Tailscale across existing accounts.
- • Day to day, you will build a credible quarterly pipeline through upsell and renewal activities, own quota attainment for your account portfolio, collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Product teams, create mutual success plans with customers, and provide accurate weekly forecasting and revenue delivery.
- • Tailscale is building the new Internet by making secure device interconnection simple and safe for users ranging from hobbyists to multinational corporations. Founded in 2019 and fully distributed, the company is backed by top-tier investors including Accel, CRV, Insight, Heavybit, and Uncork Capital, and fosters an energetic, feedback-driven culture focused on performance and customer alignment.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in Tailscale’s value proposition, refine your enterprise sales skills in a product-led growth environment, gain experience selling technical products to senior stakeholders, and grow your career through mentorship, coaching, and internal promotion opportunities supported by an annual $1,500 professional development stipend.
🎯 Requirements
- • Up to 1 year of quota-carrying or closing experience in an AE or AM role
- • Experience selling developer and/or technical products, especially in a product-led growth (PLG) motion
- • Experience presenting to senior managers and executives
- • Ability to manage multiple opportunities across stages with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- • Experience using Gong or similar tools for pipeline management and internal collaboration
- • Experience partnering with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Support teams to drive client outcomes
