- • As a Customer Centric Engineer at Workato, you will serve as the highest technical escalation layer for critical customer issues, bridging Product Engineering and Success/Support teams to ensure seamless resolution and long-term product improvements.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include owning end-to-end technical escalations—from root cause analysis using deep system access and code-level debugging to implementing fixes, building internal diagnostic tools, and mentoring support engineers—while leveraging AI to accelerate resolution and improve support efficiency.
- • You will work within Workato’s innovative, trust-oriented culture that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, contributing to a platform trusted by 400,000+ global customers to streamline operations through AI-powered enterprise orchestration.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- • 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including experience in a customer-facing or escalation engineering role
- • Strong proficiency in Ruby (our team’s core language)
- • Strong understanding of network protocols and distributed systems
- • Experience working in SaaS environments and with cloud infrastructure
- • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL data stores
