Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Customer Experience Agent at Ramp, you will be the voice of the company’s customer support, engaging with customers via live calls, email, and chat to resolve complex issues across payments, cards, travel, and accounting integrations.
- • You will diagnose problems across a broad product surface, operate with an ownership mindset to manage escalations end-to-end, and partner with Engineering, Risk, Product, and Partnerships teams to ensure timely resolution.
- • You will actively use and provide feedback on AI-powered tools like Glass, help shape their evolution, and leverage automation to improve processes and systems.
- • You will communicate with precision and empathy to financially sophisticated customers, explaining technical issues clearly without jargon, and continuously improve support workflows by identifying and fixing gaps.
- • Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating over $100B in annualized spend for 50,000+ companies, and values high agency, high urgency, and slope over intercept in its hiring.
- • The team operates as a builder culture where everyone owns problems end to end, and you will have the autonomy to drive improvements that make the whole team better.
- • You will gain deep expertise in financial systems, AI-augmented support, and cross-functional collaboration, positioning you for growth within CX or across other functions at a fast-growing fintech leader.
🎯 Requirements
- • You actively use AI tools — Claude, Notion AI, research and workflow tools — and can demonstrate how you've applied them to get real work done. This is a hard requirement.
- • You're a systems thinker: you don't just solve the ticket in front of you, you ask why the problem exists and how to prevent it from happening again.
- • You can hold a technical conversation about how systems connect (APIs, bank integrations, accounting software) even if you're not writing code.
- • You write clearly and concisely. You can explain a payment reconciliation issue to a CFO without jargon.
- • You're comfortable on the phone. Many interactions start there.
- • You have a demonstrated track record of exceeding key performance standards, including CSAT, QA, and speed-of-service metrics.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Flexible PTO
- • Unlimited AI token usage
- • Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- • Health and wellness stipend
- • Budget for intra-office travel
- • Weekly coffee stipend

- • Workplace pension through Penfold, with salary sacrifice option (UK-specific)
