- • Partner directly with dentists and clinicians in real-time to review, refine, and approve digital dental case designs for optimal aesthetic and functional outcomes, ensuring high-quality patient results.
- • Provide live clinical support via phone, chat, and video calls to troubleshoot technical issues, clarify digital workflows, and guide clinicians through scanning, case preparation, and design modifications.
- • Apply expert knowledge of 3Shape CAD/CAM systems to design and modify crown and bridge and implant cases, adhering to industry best practices and clinical standards.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between clinicians and internal dental lab teams, translating clinical feedback into precise production instructions to maintain consistency and quality across all cases.
- • Build trust and confidence with dental practitioners by offering empathetic, professional, and timely support during high-stakes clinical transitions to digital workflows.
- • Manage multiple concurrent customer interactions, prioritizing urgent cases while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve digital dental tools by communicating recurring clinician feedback, usability concerns, and design enhancement opportunities.
- • Navigate and adapt quickly to evolving dental design platforms and digital workflow updates within a fast-paced, fully digital lab environment.
- • Maintain strict adherence to quality control standards across every case, ensuring compliance with clinical specifications and patient safety protocols.
- • Communicate complex technical and clinical information clearly and accurately in both verbal and written formats to clinicians with varying levels of digital literacy.
- • Demonstrate independence in problem-solving while working remotely, making sound clinical judgments under time pressure and limited supervision.
- • Engage in shifts scheduled between 6 am - 3:45 pm AEST, 8 am - 4:45 pm AEST, or 10 am - 6:45 pm AEST to provide consistent coverage for clinicians across Australia.
- • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in training on new technologies, protocols, and customer experience enhancements.
- • Uphold confidentiality and data privacy standards in all communications and handling of patient-related clinical data.
- • Contribute to a supportive, inclusive team environment by promoting collaboration, respect, and professional growth among peers and across departments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years in a dental technician role
- • 2+ years of experience in 3Shape CAD/CAM design, including implant and crown & bridge cases
- • Deep understanding of digital dental workflows, including implant systems, scan bodies, and best design practices
- • Proven ability to build rapport with clinicians and provide empathetic, professional customer support
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate clinical and technical feedback into actionable insights
- • Comfortable conducting live support via phone, chat, or video calls with clinicians
