- • As a Senior Project Engineer at Glacier Technologies Inc., you will serve as the technical owner of robot deployment projects from initial sales support through final customer acceptance, directly enabling the company’s mission to reduce landfill waste and advance circular recycling systems through AI-powered sorting robots.
- • You will drive end-to-end project execution by aligning technical capabilities with customer needs, managing complex timelines and cross-functional dependencies, and ensuring seamless on-site installation and calibration of recycling robots at client facilities across the U.S.
- • You will act as the primary technical liaison between Glacier and its customers — including major CPG brands and municipal recycling facilities — leading meetings, translating requirements into actionable plans, and maintaining high satisfaction through clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- • You will lead and coordinate internal teams (engineering, manufacturing, operations) and external partners to develop detailed project schedules, track milestones, mitigate risks, and resolve competing priorities to ensure on-time, on-budget deployments with minimal disruption.
- • You will participate in hands-on installation and calibration of Glacier’s custom sorting robots at customer sites, providing real-time technical support and serving as the on-site representative during deployment phases, including occasional nights and weekends.
- • You will continuously improve Glacier’s deployment processes by documenting lessons learned, refining standard operating procedures, and optimizing workflows to increase efficiency and scalability as the company expands its fleet nationwide.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years of professional experience including at least 5 years in project management and 2+ years as the primary customer point of contact
- • Proven experience leading complex hardware projects involving timeline coordination, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and on-site installation or deployment
- • Hands-on experience with hardware products, preferably in robotics, manufacturing, or electromechanical systems, including evaluating technical tradeoffs and working with 3D CAD tools
- • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time (up to 2 weeks at a time) for on-site installations, including flexibility for nights and weekends
- • Ability to work from the San Francisco office at least two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays required)
- • Self-starter mindset with the ability to define and manage major project timelines independently, creatively resolve obstacles, and thrive with minimal guidance
