  • • As a Customer Integration Engineer at Hello Patient, you will serve as the technical backbone connecting Mia, our AI-powered patient engagement assistant, to healthcare providers’ existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational continuity for clinics and hospitals.
  • • This role is critical to delivering real-world impact by enabling Mia to integrate with electronic health records (EHR), practice management software, and data warehouses, directly reducing administrative burden on clinicians and improving patient access to care.
  • • You will develop production-quality integrations using APIs, middleware, and data exchange methods to connect Mia with diverse healthcare IT systems, including building robust data pipelines and reusable integration modules that accelerate future deployments.
  • • You will lead technical discovery sessions with customer engineering and IT teams, translating clinical and business workflows into clear technical specifications while serving as the primary technical point of contact for integration questions, incident resolution, and ongoing support.
  • • You will provide Tier 2/3 support for production environments, create and maintain technical documentation, integration playbooks, and training materials, and continuously identify opportunities to improve and automate integration processes over time.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the agent platform team to design and implement new integration approaches as we scale, contributing to the evolution of our AI-native infrastructure and ensuring long-term scalability and reliability.
  • • Working in a hybrid model in Mexico City (3 days/week in-office), you’ll join a mission-driven team that values ownership, technical excellence, and direct customer impact, where your code and communication skills directly shape how healthcare providers interact with patients.
  • • This role offers the opportunity to grow your expertise in healthcare interoperability, AI-driven systems, and enterprise SaaS integrations while making tangible contributions to a product that is transforming clinical workflows and patient engagement at scale.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or integration work in production environments
  • • Proven track record building and maintaining real integrations — data pipelines, API integrations, or similar
  • • Python experience
  • • Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), webhooks, and authentication standards (OAuth, JWT)
  • • Strong English communication skills — comfortable leading technical conversations with clients and representing Hello Patient professionally
  • • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • • Located in or able to commute to Mexico City (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)

  • • Base salary: $60,000 – $80,000 USD annually, depending on experience
