- • Your primary responsibility will involve managing inbound calls from policyholders actively seeking to cancel their policies. In these interactions, you will employ active listening and empathetic communication to uncover the root causes of their decision, thoroughly exploring all available retention options and presenting them in a clear, understandable manner.
- • Complementing inbound support, you will also engage in proactive outbound outreach to customers whose life insurance policies have lapsed. This involves initiating contact to discuss the importance of maintaining coverage, exploring reinstatement opportunities, and offering flexible payment solutions tailored to their current circumstances.
- • A key aspect of your role will be conducting thorough customer consultations. This entails carefully assessing each policyholder's unique situation, including their financial standing, life changes, and coverage needs, to recommend the most appropriate adjustments or alternative solutions that align with both their requirements and Globe Life's offerings.
- • Building and nurturing strong customer relationships is paramount. You will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, characterized by clarity, empathy, and professionalism. This includes actively listening to concerns, asking pertinent clarifying questions to gain a comprehensive understanding, and explaining complex policy options and resolutions in simple, accessible language.
- • Meticulous documentation is essential. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of every customer interaction, including the retention strategies employed, the outcomes of those efforts, and any subsequent follow-up actions, all within the company's designated systems.
- • Continuous learning and product knowledge are vital. You must stay abreast of Globe Life's diverse range of life insurance products, their specific features, and evolving company procedures to ensure you can provide accurate and up-to-date information to policyholders.
- • Your communication style must be adaptable, allowing you to effectively connect with a wide spectrum of customers. Maintaining a calm, supportive, and reassuring demeanor, especially during challenging conversations, is crucial. You will ensure all information provided is precise and complete, and you will diligently follow up with customers to confirm their understanding and satisfaction with the proposed resolutions.
- • Achieving and exceeding established contact center Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is a core expectation. This includes meeting targets for call volume, retention rates, first-call resolution, adherence to schedule, call quality, and attendance. You will efficiently manage daily call quotas for both inbound cancellation requests and outbound lapse recovery contacts, all while upholding the highest standards of service quality.
- • This remote role operates Monday through Friday, with a set workday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Central Time Zone, providing a structured yet flexible work environment.
- • You will contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, sharing insights and best practices to collectively enhance customer retention efforts across the department.
