  • • As a Customer Support Agent (Contractor) for ClassDojo, you will play a critical role in supporting the mission to give every child on Earth an education they love by serving as the frontline connection between users and the platform during the high-volume 2025 Back-to-School season.
  • • Your work will directly impact over 50 million children, teachers, and families across 180 countries by ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic support that enhances user experience and trust in ClassDojo’s communication and learning tools.
  • • You will engage with customers via email to address inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide personalized solutions, acting as a trusted guide for parents, teachers, and school leaders navigating the platform.
  • • You will strive for 100% accuracy and satisfaction in every interaction, adapting quickly to evolving product features and support processes while maintaining a service-minded, empathetic approach.
  • • You will collaborate with team members to improve support resources and procedures, contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • • You will build trust and loyalty with users by demonstrating clarity, curiosity, and humility when solving problems, especially when encountering novel or ambiguous situations.
  • • You will participate in a robust 3-week paid onboarding program followed by ongoing coaching from tenured Team Leads, enabling rapid proficiency in ClassDojo’s platform and support workflows.
  • • You will develop deep product expertise, refine communication and problem-solving skills, and gain experience in a high-impact edtech environment that values user-centric innovation.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Full-time availability for 16 weeks from July 1 to October 16, 2026, including mandatory attendance for the entire 3-week paid training program.
  • • Ability to work 40 hours per week with flexibility for up to 5 hours of overtime per week, covering at least one of the following shifts: 8AM–5PM ET, 10AM–7PM ET, or Noon–9PM ET, with willingness to cover weekend shifts (Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday) as needed.
  • • Experience in fast-paced customer-facing roles (email, phone, or chat support) with the ability to independently assess, manage, and prioritize support requests based on priority and risk.
  • • Strong service mindset rooted in empathy, with a passion for solving problems by understanding customer perspectives and delivering personalized solutions.
  • • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to clarify complex concepts and adapt messaging to diverse audiences such as teachers, parents, and school leaders.
  • • Quick learning ability and natural curiosity to rapidly master new technology, particularly ClassDojo’s platform, and comfort navigating ambiguity with creativity and humility.
  • • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for collaborating to ensure team success and motivation derived from contributing to ClassDojo’s mission of bringing every child an education they love.
