  • • The Customer Support Specialist role at Red Hat is vital for delivering high-quality assistance to enterprise customers, with a specific focus on Korean-speaking clients, ensuring their account and subscription needs are met through effective communication and problem resolution.
  • • Day to day, the specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for global enterprise customers, primarily Korean clients, handling inquiries via phone and email, managing initial interactions, coordinating with internal teams, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, escalating complex problems when needed, researching solutions, and contributing to the team’s knowledge base by documenting new knowledge articles.
  • • The role sits within Red Hat’s Customer Experience and Engagement (CEE) team, a globally distributed group dedicated to enhancing customer satisfaction through proactive support and collaboration across internal stakeholders, reflecting Red Hat’s open source values of transparency and inclusion.
  • • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in Red Hat’s enterprise products, refine cross-cultural communication skills in Korean and English, gain experience in technical support workflows and knowledge management, and grow their ability to solve complex customer issues while working in a flexible, remote-first environment that values innovation and initiative.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Native-level fluency in Korean (both written and verbal)
  • • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Customer Service industry
  • • Exceptional customer service skills with experience managing multiple priorities in a customer-facing role
  • • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize work and perform under pressure
