As our next Cyber Analyst specializing in Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR), you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of security incidents—from first alert to final remediation report—turning chaos into clarity for customers who rely on us to keep their businesses running.
• • You will triage and investigate alerts generated by our proprietary threat-intel platform, commercial EDR tools, and partner SOC feeds, rapidly determining scope, impact, and root cause. Every investigation you conduct becomes a case study that feeds back into our underwriting models, making the entire At-Bay ecosystem smarter and more resilient.
• • Design and execute deep-dive forensic analysis on Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints, cloud workloads (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SaaS environments (O365, Google Workspace). You will extract and interpret artifacts from disk, memory, network, and log sources, then craft concise, business-focused narratives that non-technical stakeholders can act upon.
• • Lead cross-functional war-room calls during active breaches, coordinating with internal claims, underwriting, and customer-success teams, as well as external counsel, PR, and law-enforcement entities when required. Your calm, data-driven voice will guide SMB owners through their worst days and position At-Bay as the trusted partner they cannot live without.
• • Build and refine incident-response playbooks, detection rules, and threat-hunting queries that scale across thousands of heterogeneous environments. Your automations will shrink mean-time-to-respond (MTTR) from hours to minutes, freeing you to focus on the novel attacks that demand human creativity.
• • Translate complex technical findings into actionable risk-reduction recommendations that customers can implement without dedicated security staff. You will author executive briefs, board-level summaries, and insurance claim reports that directly influence policy pricing and renewal decisions.
• • Contribute to At-Bay’s threat-intel blog, conference talks, and customer webinars, raising our profile as thought leaders in the emerging InsurSec category. Your real-world case studies will shape industry best practices and attract the next wave of customers and talent.
• • Mentor junior analysts and rotate as the on-call DFIR lead one week per month. You will champion a culture of continuous learning, post-mortems, and purple-team exercises that keep our skills sharper than the adversary’s.
• • Leverage our 80-billion-dollar market opportunity by influencing product roadmaps: the detections you wish you had yesterday become the features we ship tomorrow. Your feedback loop with engineering ensures that every lesson learned is codified into the platform.
