📋 Description

• Join the Hitachi Energy Cybersecurity Operations team as a Cyber Security AI Engineer specializing in GenAI/ML and become part of a new engineering initiative focused on solving real‑world cybersecurity challenges. As cyberattacks grow in scale and sophistication, our Cyber AI Engineering Hub is tasked with rapidly designing and building AI‑driven solutions that transform how cybersecurity teams operate. In this role, you will take ideas from early prototypes to production‑ready systems that directly improve incident response, threat detection, and other core cybersecurity functions. If you thrive on innovation, rapid iteration, and applying advanced AI techniques to meaningful operational problems, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and backend engineering for production systems
• Hands‑on experience designing and building REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Practical experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.) and applying RAG, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration
