- • Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud infrastructure, endpoints, applications, and internal systems to protect Gray Swan AI’s internal environment and customer-facing security products.
- • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events and potential threats in collaboration with internal teams and external security providers.
- • Manage and optimize security technologies including EDR/XDR platforms, SIEM systems, vulnerability management tools, and identity management solutions.
- • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability reviews, penetration testing coordination, and risk analyses for internal systems and third-party applications.
- • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to integrate security best practices into software development, deployment, and AI workflows.
- • Help develop and scale security policies, incident response procedures, and operational processes as the company grows.
- • Apply knowledge of networking, operating systems, cloud security, identity management, and common attack techniques to strengthen Gray Swan’s security posture.
- • Utilize scripting and automation with Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools to enhance security operations and reduce manual effort.
- • Align security practices with frameworks such as SOC, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
- • Participate in or lead compliance efforts for security frameworks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- • Communicate security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Operations teams.
- • Stay current on emerging security threats, AI-related risks, and evolving security technologies to proactively adapt defenses.
- • Contribute to shaping the security culture and practices of a fast-growing AI company with high ownership and minimal bureaucracy.
- • Work in a high-ownership environment where you will directly impact product security and company direction from day one.
- • Support the delivery of secure AI systems to globally recognized customers through real-time threat detection and adaptive defense mechanisms.
- • Collaborate with managed SOC providers and participate in security operations programs as needed.
- • Maintain familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP security architectures to ensure secure cloud deployments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, security operations, or a related field.
- • Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, cloud security, identity management, and common attack techniques.
- • Experience deploying and managing security tools such as EDR/XDR platforms, SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and security monitoring solutions.
- • Proficiency with scripting and automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar languages.
- • Familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
- • Actively participated in or led a compliance effort for a security framework.
