Cybersecurity Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Defense Unicorns, you will own the end-to-end Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve accreditation for mission-critical software platforms serving U.S. government heroes, directly enabling secure and rapid delivery of defense capabilities.
• • Day to day, you will lead accreditation efforts per NIST-800 standards, conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, develop cybersecurity policies and controls, collaborate with engineers to embed security into the SDLC, perform security testing (STIGs, ACAS, CI/CD), maintain documentation (SSPs, SARs), and champion continuous compliance-as-code using OSCAL to modernize DoD security posture.
