- • Pursue and capture targeted new data center accounts and customers to secure high-value sales orders and establish Daikin as a strategic, long-term supplier partner with opportunities for sustained, multi-year revenue growth.
- • Evaluate the data center market to identify and prioritize applicable HVAC business opportunities aligned with Daikin Applied’s vertical market sales strategy.
- • Directly engage with data center owner/operators, specifying engineers, and select contractor-buyers to promote Daikin Applied’s HVAC systems, products, and service capabilities.
- • Educate design consultants, architects, and building owners on the technical and financial benefits of Daikin Applied solutions to influence and guide the client’s specification process.
- • Collaborate with Daikin Applied sales representatives and solution SMEs to maximize account penetration, coordinate field efforts, and align on national account growth plans.
- • Identify, qualify, and recommend pursuit or abandonment of potential new National Accounts using the established criteria in the National Accounts Guidebook.
- • Actively manage and update the sales pipeline in Salesforce and participate in scheduled pipeline reviews with the vertical market team.
- • Leverage the National Accounts Authorized REP program, ensuring adherence to program expectations and recommending continuous improvements to enhance effectiveness.
- • Represent Daikin brand at key industry marketing events, trade shows, and networking opportunities; collaborate with marketing to secure speaking engagements and publishing opportunities.
- • Interface with leaders of major global and national accounts to provide high-level support, understand customer needs, and develop strategic initiatives for sales growth.
- • Monitor competitor strategies and market trends to ensure Daikin’s offerings remain competitive and strategically positioned.
- • Coordinate and manage all logistical and administrative activities related to major account engagements, including meetings, visits, and legal matters.
- • Work with Director of National Accounts, Divisional Vice Presidents, and Regional General Managers to establish strategic priorities for global and national account growth.
- • Support training, mentoring, and coaching of field teams on the delivery of vertical market solutions and sales methodologies.
- • Drive solutions, offerings, and programs to support vertical market growth in the data center sector.
- • Maintain deep knowledge of HVAC wholesale distribution industry value propositions, competitors, and customer dynamics, as well as HVAC servicing contractor industry practices.
