📋 Description

• Install, configure, and test new data center infrastructure including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems to support high-performance AI workloads.
• Perform routine maintenance and hardware upgrades to ensure optimal reliability, performance, and uptime of data center systems.
• Monitor system performance metrics and respond to alerts by diagnosing and resolving hardware, network, or environmental issues in real time.
• Collaborate with local and remote engineering, operations, and support teams to coordinate equipment deployments and ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain detailed, accurate logs of all installations, repairs, maintenance activities, and component replacements in accordance with TensorWave’s operational protocols.
• Adhere strictly to safety, security, and data center best practices during all on-site tasks, including proper handling of sensitive hardware and compliance with environmental controls.
• Provide on-site technical support during critical outages or incidents as part of a rotating on-call rotation to minimize service disruption.
• Work on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (8AM–8PM or 8PM–8AM) with alternating 3-day and 4-day work weeks, requiring flexibility to work either day or night shifts as assigned.
• Travel as needed to support data center operations at other locations or during emergency deployments.
• Ensure all equipment is properly labeled, documented, and staged according to inventory and asset management standards.
• Assist in the implementation of new data center technologies, including liquid cooling systems and GPU-based compute hardware, as part of infrastructure evolution.
• Participate in onboarding and training for new team members to uphold consistent operational standards across the national team.
• Respond to audit requests and support compliance reviews by providing documentation and evidence of adherence to operational procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data center operations with direct hands-on experience in hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure including servers, networking, and storage systems.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (8AM–8PM or 8PM–8AM) with alternating 3-day and 4-day work weeks.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed for operational support.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work as part of a national operations team.
