📋 Description

• Deploy and support server and network hardware in a live data center or hardware lab: racked it, cabled it, fixed it, and kept it running.
• Troubleshoot server hardware deeply: POST, BIOS, PXE, IPMI, BMC, and component-level repair.
• Know network fundamentals (TCP/IP, Ethernet) and hardware (switches, routers, copper and fiber) well enough to diagnose physical-layer faults yourself.
• Work comfortably in Linux for hands-on diagnosis and recovery at the console.
• Asset records, labels, and documentation are habits for you: what's on the floor always matches what's in the system.
• Work around unreleased or partner-owned hardware, treating what you see and touch as confidential.
• Bonus: GPU server fleets. Hyperscale or high-density AI infrastructure. Liquid-cooled systems. Scripting (Python, Bash). Structured cabling.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in deploying and supporting server and network hardware in a live data center or hardware lab.
• Strong understanding of server hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with network fundamentals and hardware.
• Proficiency in Linux for hands-on diagnosis and recovery.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with unreleased or partner-owned hardware.
