📋 Description
- • Implement and maintain the Data Governance platform using Informatica CDGC and AXON to enable enterprise-scale data governance and quality operations.
- • Configure, manage, and enforce data quality rules, policies, and stewardship workflows within Informatica CDQ/IDQ to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- • Integrate data catalogs with multiple enterprise data sources including databases, ERP systems, CRM platforms, cloud environments, and Databricks using scanners and catalog sources.
- • Manage Data Governance for the Databricks Lakehouse by aligning Unity Catalog lineage and classification with Informatica CDGC to ensure unified metadata governance.
- • Collaborate directly with data owners and business stakeholders to define, document, and validate data standards and quality rules for analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.
- • Ensure end-to-end data lineage, traceability, and regulatory compliance across all data assets within the organization’s multi-cloud environment.
- • Utilize Informatica CLAIRE to automate metadata classification and support the definition of data quality rules and governance policies.
- • Operate within a 100% remote, international team environment with direct engagement in global data transformation and modernization projects.
- • Maintain strict adherence to data privacy and regulatory frameworks including GDPR while implementing governance controls across data ecosystems.
- • Work within a fixed schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (CDMX time, GMT-6), supporting global data initiatives across time zones.
- • Serve as a technical lead in the implementation of data governance frameworks, ensuring alignment between technical platforms and business data requirements.
- • Act as the primary point of contact for data stewardship activities, coordinating between technical teams, data owners, and compliance functions.
- • Apply hands-on expertise to deploy and optimize enterprise-grade data governance tools in cloud-native and multi-cloud environments.
- • Participate in the continuous improvement of data quality metrics, metadata management, and data classification processes across the organization.
- • Ensure seamless integration between data governance platforms and privacy solutions such as OneTrust to support data subject rights and compliance workflows.
- • Maintain documentation of governance policies, data lineage maps, and stewardship procedures to support audits and internal reviews.
- • Engage with international stakeholders in English to align governance strategies, resolve data quality issues, and drive adoption of governance standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or similar roles with enterprise implementations (not advisory-only)
- • Expert, exclusive proficiency in Informatica IDMC: CDGC, CDQ/IDQ, and AXON
- • Proven experience with Databricks Unity Catalog for cataloging, lineage, and classification of data assets
- • Mandatory Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (ICP) certification
- • Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1) required for interaction with international technical and business teams
- • Experience integrating data governance tools with privacy platforms such as OneTrust
