Data Scientist – Agentic AI (Enterprise Risk Management & AI Governance)

📋 Description

• • As a Data Scientist on the AI Risk, Governance and Research team at Allstate, you will help re-imagine AI governance and risk management by building continuous, data-driven oversight systems that monitor, assess, and quantify risk as AI solutions evolve in real time.
• • Your day-to-day work will involve learning and applying LLMs, programming languages, and tools; assisting in exploring new data sources and models; supporting project planning by breaking down tasks; applying statistical and machine learning techniques; reviewing results with peers; contributing to stakeholder communications; and helping develop prototypes that integrate machine learning into business decision-making.
• • You will join a balanced, cross-functional team within Enterprise Risk that includes entry-level to expert contributors, fostering collaboration and deep technical growth while working on high-visibility, organization-wide AI initiatives.
• • This role offers the opportunity to build foundational experience in designing and implementing AI agents and cloud-based AI solutions, gain exposure to observability, security, and efficient LLM utilization, and develop skills in deploying and maintaining scalable AI systems in production environments.
