- • Sell enterprise-grade property data, geospatial datasets, and analytics solutions to new clients across mortgage lending, insurance, government, utilities, GIS, spatial analytics, and proptech industries.
- • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting strategies and qualified call plans focused on lenders, servicers, secondary market participants, insurers, GIS teams, Esri partners, and enterprise location intelligence users.
- • Position DataTree’s property and ownership data as a strategic geospatial layer within GIS ecosystems, emphasizing integration capabilities with ArcGIS and other enterprise mapping platforms.
- • Consult with customers to understand their business challenges related to parcel data, geocoding, location intelligence, property risk analysis, spatial visualization, and market analytics.
- • Develop, present, and implement customized data and analytics solutions tailored to client workflows, technology environments, and licensing requirements.
- • Deliver virtual and in-person product demonstrations showcasing spatial data visualization, mapping capabilities, API integrations, and data integration use cases.
- • Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and data strategy teams to create sales collateral, GIS-focused messaging, thought leadership content, and social media campaigns supporting go-to-market initiatives.
- • Maintain consistent cross-functional communication with operations, customer success, data licensing, and technical teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and long-term retention.
- • Communicate proactively and respond promptly to client inquiries and prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- • Represent the company at industry conferences, GIS and spatial technology events, mortgage technology forums, and trade shows to build market visibility and develop strategic relationships.
- • Manage a defined sales territory and pipeline with strong organizational and territory development skills, ensuring consistent revenue growth and account expansion.
- • Utilize Salesforce.com and other CRM tools to track sales activities, forecast outcomes, and maintain accurate customer records.
- • Demonstrate deep understanding of spatial data concepts including parcel boundaries, geocoding, boundary files, mapping applications, and geospatial analytics.
- • Translate complex technical features of DataTree into clear business value for both technical GIS stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
- • Employ a consultative sales approach to navigate enterprise sales cycles, influence purchasing decisions, and close complex data licensing agreements.
- • Stay informed on market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging opportunities in location intelligence and property technology sectors.
- • Maintain professional appearance and uphold First American’s brand image in all client interactions.
- • Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines regarding data privacy, confidentiality, and fair hiring practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3–5 years of successful B2B sales experience in data licensing, real estate data, GIS, spatial analytics, SaaS, or enterprise technology solutions.
- • Proven sales record and established business contacts within mortgage, insurance, proptech, GIS, spatial technology, or related industry segments.
- • Experience selling or supporting solutions that integrate with Esri, ArcGIS, or other geospatial platforms is strongly preferred.
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- • Strong understanding of spatial data concepts including parcel data, geocoding, boundary files, location intelligence, and geospatial analytics.
- • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Salesforce.com, and modern CRM/sales enablement tools.
