- • The DC Events and Workplace Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in advancing Second Front Systems’ mission by managing high-impact events and ensuring seamless workplace operations in the DMV region, directly supporting the deployment and scaling of the Game Warden platform for U.S. government national security initiatives.
- • This role bridges strategic event execution with daily office leadership, enabling the company to strengthen relationships with defense clients, showcase innovation at industry forums, and maintain a professional, mission-aligned workspace that reflects 2F’s values of innovation and service.
- • What the person will do day to day:
- • Plan and execute a diverse portfolio of events including the Offset Symposium, executive dinners, customer engagements, podcast recordings, and corporate hospitality experiences such as Capital One Suite events, ensuring flawless logistics and high-touch attendee experiences.
- • Manage end-to-end logistics for senior leadership participation in major industry conferences and defense tech gatherings, including quarterly events like SXSW and AFCEA West, coordinating travel, schedules, materials, and on-site support.
- • Serve as the primary liaison with vendors, venues, caterers, and travel providers, overseeing contracts, setup, breakdown, and post-event follow-up to ensure quality, compliance, and budget adherence.
- • Partner closely with the Marketing team to align event execution with brand messaging, particularly for DC-region activations, and maintain a centralized events calendar visible to Sales, Leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- • Support podcast production by coordinating guest outreach, scheduling, technical logistics, and content preparation to amplify 2F’s thought leadership in defense technology.
- • Oversee daily operations of the Arlington office, including supply inventory, space organization, visitor reception, vendor coordination, and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment for employees and guests.
- • Assist with internal communications and culture initiatives by helping draft, coordinate, and distribute messaging related to events, milestones, and company values.
- • Organize occasional team onsites, leadership offsites, and internal meetings, handling logistics, facilitation support, and follow-up to ensure objectives are met.

🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of experience in events, marketing, communications, hospitality, or office operations, with internships considered for entry-level candidates.
- • Strong organizational and project management skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple timelines, vendors, and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort interacting with executives, government clients, and external partners in professional settings.
- • Willingness and ability to travel approximately quarterly for conferences and events such as SXSW, AFCEA West, and similar defense tech gatherings.
- • Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements and must reside in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area.
- • Comfortable working in-office most or all days, as the role requires on-site presence for office management and event support.
