  • • Ontic Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deal Desk Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a critical commercial advisor, partnering closely with our sales organization to ensure the efficient and accurate creation and processing of sales orders and agreements. You will be instrumental in supporting both existing and new customers by crafting and meticulously reviewing a variety of business-to-business agreements, including sales orders, Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements, service agreements, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • • Your primary responsibility will involve generating precise quotes for the sales team, incorporating appropriate pricing and commercial terms, all while adhering to standard company templates. This requires a keen understanding of our product offerings, pricing structures, and the ability to translate customer needs into compliant and profitable contractual terms.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be the thorough review of commercial terms across a spectrum of agreements. This includes not only initial sales orders and SaaS agreements but also service agreements, SOWs, restatements, amendments, and any other necessary business-to-business contracts. You will act as a gatekeeper, ensuring that all contractual stipulations align with Ontic’s overarching business requirements.
  • • This alignment extends to critical areas such as discounting and concession approvals, ensuring they fall within established guidelines. You will also play a key role in verifying that service terms are accurately reflected and that revenue recognition rules are strictly followed, contributing to the financial integrity of the company.
  • • Beyond contract review, you will be a proactive force in driving operational efficiency. A key objective will be to develop and implement productivity improvements within the Deal Desk function, ensuring that our processes can scale effectively alongside the rapid growth of the business. This involves identifying bottlenecks, proposing solutions, and contributing to the continuous refinement of our workflows.
  • • Your responsibilities will also encompass the meticulous review, validation, and processing of all incoming orders. This critical step ensures that each order is accurate, complete, and fully conforms to Ontic’s established commercial policies before it is booked. Accuracy here is paramount to seamless customer onboarding and accurate financial reporting.
  • • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with both the Sales and Legal departments to swiftly resolve any discrepancies or finalize complex deal structures. This cross-functional partnership is essential for ensuring that deals are structured optimally and can be booked efficiently, minimizing delays and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • • As a Deal Desk Advisor, you are more than just an administrator; you are a strategic partner to the sales team. You will leverage your expertise in Salesforce, pricing, and contract management to provide invaluable support, enabling our sales professionals to focus on what they do best: closing deals. Your insights and proactive approach will directly contribute to the success of our commercial operations.
