- • As a Deployed Engineer at LangChain, you will be a critical technical partner to enterprise customers building and scaling AI agents in production, directly influencing how intelligent systems are adopted and operated in real-world environments.
- • Your work bridges engineering, product, and go-to-market functions, ensuring that LangChain’s platform evolves based on field insights while helping customers achieve reliable, scalable AI agent deployments.
- • Day to day, you will co-architect and co-build production AI agents alongside customer engineering teams, translating business needs into technical solutions using LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.
- • You will own the technical win during pre-sales by designing proof-of-concepts, answering complex technical questions, and guiding evaluations to demonstrate the viability and value of agent-based systems.
- • Post-deployment, you will advise customers on architecture, observability, best practices, and long-term roadmap decisions to ensure stable and efficient operation of AI agents in production.
- • You will run technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences, enabling broader adoption and upskilling across customer teams.
- • By surfacing field feedback, you will contribute reusable patterns, cookbooks, and example code that improve the LangChain platform and benefit future customers.
- • When impactful, you will contribute code upstream to the open-source LangChain suite, directly improving the tools used by millions of developers.
- • You will work closely with a highly technical, customer-focused team that values ownership, bias for action, and deep technical curiosity in solving applied AI challenges.
- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in production AI systems, agent orchestration, LLM evaluation, and enterprise AI adoption — positioning you at the forefront of real-world AI engineering.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years in a relevant technical role such as software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, or founding/product engineering, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with solid systems fundamentals including understanding of APIs, orchestration, and failure handling
- • Experience designing and building agent-based or LLM-powered applications beyond simple API calls, including multi-step workflows, reasoning chains, and state management
