• • The Deployed Engineering team is dedicated to partnering directly with companies to build and operationalize AI agents in production environments. This role is hands-on and deeply technical, requiring close collaboration with customer engineering teams throughout the entire lifecycle of an AI agent project, from initial pre-sales evaluations to ongoing post-deployment advisory services.
• • Your primary focus will be on achieving technical success for our clients by co-designing agent architectures, guiding them through the implementation process, and ensuring the reliable, scalable operation of their AI agents using the LangChain ecosystem.
• • This position offers a unique blend of engineering, product strategy, and go-to-market engagement. You will be instrumental in shaping how LangChain is adopted in the field and will serve as a crucial conduit for channeling real-world customer insights back into our product development.
• • You will tackle some of the most challenging problems in applied AI, moving beyond theoretical concepts and demos to build systems that are critical for real-world business operations. The fast-paced feedback loop and the direct visibility of your impact will allow you to significantly influence the future of AI agent development.
• • Key responsibilities include co-architecting and co-building production-grade AI agents in close collaboration with customer engineering teams, ensuring technical wins through the design of Proofs of Concept (POCs), addressing complex technical inquiries, and guiding customer evaluations.
• • You will be instrumental in helping customers successfully deploy and operate sophisticated agent-based applications, including conversational AI systems, research agents, and complex multi-step workflows.
• • Post-sale, you will provide expert advisory services to customers, focusing on optimal architecture design, best practices for AI agent implementation, and strategic roadmap decisions.
• • You will conduct technical demonstrations, deliver comprehensive training sessions, and lead workshops tailored for developer audiences, fostering a deeper understanding and adoption of LangChain technologies.
• • A critical aspect of this role involves actively surfacing field feedback and contributing to the development of reusable patterns, comprehensive cookbooks, and example code that can be scaled across our diverse customer base.
• • In instances where it significantly enhances customer outcomes, you will have the opportunity to contribute code directly to the upstream LangChain projects, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
