- • Own the end-to-end technical delivery of Sycurio’s PCI-DSS, payment-security and customer-experience solutions for enterprise clients across North America. You will translate high-level solution designs into repeatable, scalable deployments that protect millions of card transactions every day.
- • Build, configure and test complete customer environments—both standard and bespoke—using Linux, VMware ESXi, Cisco ISR, SIP/TDM gateways and AWS EC2/VPC. Every rack, VM, VLAN and firewall rule you touch directly determines whether a Fortune-500 contact center can safely take payments tomorrow morning.
- • Maintain living “as-built” documentation: update low-level design diagrams, run-books and test evidence after every change so that 1st/2nd-line support teams can take over with zero surprises. Your meticulous notes become the single source of truth that keeps SLAs green and auditors happy.
- • Act as the last line of technical defense during roll-outs. When an integration throws a SIP 503, a VPN tunnel drops or a codec mismatch garbles DTMF, you dive into packet captures, firewall logs and SIP ladders until the issue is resolved—escalating only when a code patch is required.
- • Prototype next-generation features in our lab environment: spin up new AWS regions, test SRTP encryption, benchmark call-throughput on bigger instance types and document repeatable deployment patterns. Your findings shape the next release and reduce future deployment times by hours.
- • Become the go-to Sycurio product SME. Deliver remote or on-site coaching to customer engineers, support analysts and partners—turning complex telephony diagrams into plain English and building confidence across the ecosystem.
- • Provide 3rd-line support for the production estate you deployed. When an airline’s holiday booking line starts dropping calls at 2 a.m., you join the bridge, triage with packet captures and restore service before the morning rush.
- • Contribute to continuous-improvement sprints: automate repetitive build steps in Ansible, refine monitoring dashboards in Nagios/Splunk and feed real-world deployment pain points back to Product and Engineering.
- • Travel up to 25 % (post-pandemic) for high-stakes go-lives—whether that means a data-center in Dallas, a trading-floor in New York or a contact-center in Toronto—ensuring every handset, soft-client and API endpoint is production-ready.
- • Champion security and compliance at every layer: validate TLS cipher-suites, confirm IPsec policies and ensure every deployment meets PCI-DSS, SOC 2 and regional privacy mandates.
- • Collaborate daily with Project Managers, Technical Architects, Customer Success and Sales Engineers to balance scope, budget and risk—translating business requirements into bullet-proof technical reality.
- • Leave every customer site with a smile, a signed acceptance form and a reference story that Sales can quote in the next RFP.
