- • As a Deployment Engineer at Cobot GmbH, you will be on the front lines of bringing collaborative robots (cobots) into real-world environments, ensuring seamless integration and exceptional customer experiences that turn initial deployments into long-term success stories.
- • This role is critical to Cobot’s mission of redefining human-robot interaction, where your technical expertise and relationship-building skills directly impact customer trust, system reliability, and the scalability of robotic solutions across industries.
- • You will lead onsite hardware and software testing, troubleshoot complex issues in real time, perform parts replacements and robot retrofits, and prepare sites through readiness assessments and checklists to ensure optimal cobot performance and operational excellence.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining strong customer relationships grounded in trust and mutual success, creating clear operational and technical documentation, and partnering with Program Managers to drive consistent communication and project progress throughout deployment lifecycles.
- • You will leverage your proficiency in Linux, Python, and Git, along with hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical debugging, to diagnose and resolve system issues while applying a data-oriented approach to visualize and present findings that enhance reliability and user experience.
- • Working in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment, you will contribute to a small, innovative team where your initiative and problem-solving skills help streamline deployment processes and improve efficiency through tools like AI automation and JIRA.
- • This role offers the opportunity to gain deep expertise in robotic system integration across logistics, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors, while developing advanced skills in project management, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration that accelerate your growth as a technical leader in human-robot interaction.
- • You will play a key role in shaping how cobots are introduced, adopted, and scaled, directly influencing product evolution through field feedback and helping establish best practices that become foundational to Cobot’s deployment excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or Supply Chain Management
- • Proficiency in Linux, Python, and Git or equivalent version control tools
- • Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical debugging
- • Previous experience deploying and integrating systems into logistics, healthcare, or manufacturing industry
- • Willingness to travel 90-100% of the time for on-site deployments
- • Strong oral and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset
