📋 Description
- • Lead the development and execution of M&T Bank’s liquidity and deposit product strategy across commercial, corporate, and institutional client segments to drive growth in core operating deposits.
- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of key liquidity products including commercial demand deposit accounts (DDA), money market deposit accounts (MMDA), sweep solutions, virtual accounts, escrow structures, and cash concentration systems.
- • Design differentiated value propositions to deepen client relationships, increase share of wallet, and align product offerings with M&T’s relationship-first banking model.
- • Partner with CPLS Pricing to establish and maintain pricing frameworks that balance client competitiveness, profitability, and funding value.
- • Equip Treasury Sales and Relationship Managers with tools, insights, and positioning to effectively sell liquidity solutions and ensure consistent client experience.
- • Enhance digital and self-service capabilities within M&T Treasury Center and online banking platforms to improve client adoption and engagement.
- • Develop and execute strategies for API-enabled liquidity solutions integrated with client ERP and TMS platforms, supporting emerging opportunities like embedded treasury and digital assets within M&T’s measured innovation framework.
- • Ensure all deposit and liquidity products comply with M&T’s risk management culture, regulatory expectations, and governance standards in close collaboration with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Audit teams.
- • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and client-focused culture aligned with M&T’s core values.
- • Serve as a senior internal thought leader and external representative on liquidity, deposit trends, and treasury innovation within the banking industry.
- • Drive measurable outcomes through growth and retention of core commercial deposits, liquidity product revenue contribution to net interest income, client satisfaction, treasury product penetration, and adoption of digital liquidity capabilities.
- • Maintain strong financial acumen to analyze cash flows, product profitability, and balance sheet dynamics while prioritizing investments based on client value and return on capital.
- • Leverage extensive market intelligence and industry networks to inform product strategy and stay ahead of evolving client needs and competitive dynamics.
- • Apply strong analytical, research, and presentation skills to communicate product vision, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- • Demonstrate principled leadership with sound business ethics and a dedicated focus on customer service, utilizing expert resources as needed to deliver optimal client outcomes.
