- • Own the complete design lifecycle at Veda—from initial brand exploration to pixel-perfect product UI—ensuring every touchpoint feels unmistakably “Veda” and sets the tone for how the world experiences DeFi.
- • Translate complex on-chain concepts into intuitive, visually striking assets: animated explainers that demystify yield strategies, infographics that make $6B in TVL feel tangible, and social creatives that stop the scroll.
- • Build and evolve a living design system that scales across web, mobile, conference booths, swag, pitch decks, and GitHub readmes—locking in color, typography, iconography, and motion language so every team ships faster and looks sharper.
- • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with product managers and Solidity engineers to dissect user flows, spot friction, and ship UX improvements that move core KPIs like wallet-connect success rate, average deposit size, and time-to-first-yield.
- • Rapidly prototype UI concepts in Figma, run micro-usability tests with DeFi power users and TradFi newcomers alike, then iterate before a single line of front-end code is written—saving engineering cycles and elevating product quality.
- • Conceptualize and produce original illustrations, 3D visuals, and motion graphics that turn abstract primitives (vault tokens, rebasing mechanics, cross-chain routing) into emotionally resonant stories for Twitter, Mirror, and keynote stages.
- • Art-direct external vendors and community contributors—setting briefs, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring every outsourced asset still feels native to the Veda universe.
- • Monitor design and DeFi trends daily; distill insights into actionable recommendations that keep the brand two steps ahead while honoring the trust and security tone our $6B audience demands.
- • Champion accessibility and responsive design so farmers in Lagos, institutions in Zurich, and DAOs in Seoul all enjoy the same frictionless experience on any device or connection.
- • Present design rationale to founders, investors, and open-source contributors alike—translating “why this gradient” into “why this builds trust in decentralized finance”.
- • Balance high-impact marketing pushes (product launches, protocol partnerships, security audits) with long-term product bets, juggling shifting priorities without ever dropping craft or deadlines.
- • Contribute to hiring and mentoring future designers, establishing rituals, critique sessions, and documentation that let creativity compound as the team grows.
🎯 Requirements
- • Senior-level design portfolio (Dribbble, Behance, personal site) showcasing original visual design AND UI/UX case studies—applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed
- • Demonstrated experience in crypto, DeFi, or fintech environments—bonus for projects that handled real user funds or complex financial workflows
- • Mastery of Figma, Adobe CC, and motion tools (After Effects, Rive, or similar) with the ability to ship production-ready assets and specs
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable defending design decisions to engineers, marketers, and executives
- • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, meet tight launch windows, and adapt gracefully when requirements evolve mid-sprint
