đź“‹ Description
- • As a Design Recruiter at Trading 212 UK Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in scaling the company’s design talent pipeline to support its mission of enabling everyone to build wealth through exceptional trading and investing products. Your work directly contributes to maintaining the high-velocity, excellence-driven culture that has helped the company serve over 5 million clients and manage more than €30 billion in assets under management.
- • You will partner closely with Design Leaders to deeply understand evolving team needs, translate strategic goals into precise hiring requirements, and craft tailored sourcing strategies that attract top-tier design talent aligned with Trading 212’s product vision and innovation pace.
- • You will independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle for design roles — from proactive outreach and portfolio evaluation to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support — ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- • You will critically assess design portfolios using your expert eye for craft, identifying strengths in visual thinking, interaction design, prototyping, and user-centered problem-solving, without relying on hiring managers to validate your judgments.
- • You will design and implement a data-driven recruitment framework that tracks key metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline conversion rates, offer acceptance, and source effectiveness, continuously refining processes to improve efficiency and quality of hire.
- • You will proactively build and nurture a robust network of elite design professionals through industry events, online communities, and targeted outreach, creating a sustainable talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- • You will amplify Trading 212’s employer brand by crafting compelling narratives around its design culture, innovation ethos, and employee value proposition, positioning the company as a destination of choice for world-class designers.
- • You will champion an exceptional candidate experience at every touchpoint — ensuring timely communication, respectful feedback, and a process that reflects the company’s values of transparency, respect, and excellence.
- • You will leverage your recruitment expertise to identify bottlenecks, introduce best practices in sourcing, interviewing, and assessment, and drive continuous improvement across the hiring lifecycle in partnership with HR and design leadership.
- • You will collaborate with a high-performing, intellectually curious team that values autonomy, innovation, and mutual support, where your ideas are welcomed and your impact is visible.
- • You will grow your expertise in niche design recruitment, mastering the nuances of evaluating UI/UX, product, visual, and interaction design talent in a fast-paced tech environment, while developing strategic stakeholder management skills with senior design leaders.
- • You will gain exposure to scaling a design function in a high-growth fintech company, learning how to align talent acquisition with product roadmaps, business objectives, and long-term organizational design.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven in-house experience recruiting exclusively for design roles (UI/UX, product, visual, interaction) within a technology company, with full ownership of the design hiring function from strategy to execution.
- • Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate design portfolios with confidence, articulating what constitutes strong craft, thinking, and execution without requiring input from hiring managers.
- • Track record of building talent pipelines from scratch through proactive sourcing, including leveraging platforms like Behance, Dribbble, LinkedIn, and design communities, while managing stakeholders with strong opinions and competing priorities.
- • Fluency in design terminology and processes — able to speak the language of designers, understand Figma, prototyping, user research, design systems, and critique frameworks.
- • Measurable success in improving key hiring metrics: reducing time-to-fill, increasing offer acceptance rates, improving pipeline conversion, and enhancing source quality.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages, provide thoughtful feedback, and communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Generous remuneration package with performance-based annual bonuses tied to individual and company performance.
- • Comprehensive social benefits including private health insurance, access to a sports card for fitness and wellness activities, and 25 days of paid vacation per year to support work-life balance.
- • Flexible, high-trust culture that encourages autonomy, innovation, and the pursuit of new ideas, with minimal bureaucracy and a focus on impact.
- • Access to a spacious, well-designed office in Sofia featuring a game room, relaxation areas, and regular treats to foster team connection and enjoyment.
- • Opportunity to work alongside smart, spirited, and high-performing colleagues who are passionate about building products that democratize wealth creation.
- • Clear pathways for professional growth and skill development in niche design recruitment, employer branding, and talent strategy within a rapidly scaling fintech leader.
