đ Description
- ⢠As a Designated Broker - Contractor for Saskatchewan, you will serve as the regulatory and operational cornerstone for Realâs growing agent network in the province, ensuring full compliance with provincial real estate laws, CREA standards, and local board requirements while enabling agents to thrive through expert guidance and support.
- ⢠You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and scalability of Realâs brokerage operations in Saskatchewan by establishing robust risk management frameworks, updating policy addendums, and fostering a culture of compliance, innovation, and agent success.
- ⢠What the person will do day to day:
- ⢠Manage and mentor a team of licensed sales agents, providing ongoing guidance on regulatory compliance, ethical practices, and CREA/local board standards to ensure all transactions adhere to provincial and national real estate regulations.
- ⢠Develop, implement, and continuously refine risk management plans tailored to Saskatchewanâs real estate landscape, including updating provincial-specific policy addendums in coordination with brokerage operations leadership.
- ⢠Deliver exceptional brokerage support by ensuring agents remain compliant with Saskatchewan licensing laws, association membership requirements (e.g., Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission), and MLS participation rules, resolving issues proactively.
- ⢠Design and conduct regular training sessions for agents on critical topics such as contract law, risk mitigation, licensing updates, and provincial real estate legislation to enhance professional competence and reduce liability.
- ⢠Establish and maintain a scalable regional management structure that supports agent growth, clarifies reporting lines, and enables efficient delegation of responsibilities across the Saskatchewan agent base.
- ⢠Collaborate closely with national department leads in brokerage operations, finance, legal, and support teams to align provincial practices with company-wide standards while advocating for Saskatchewan-specific needs.
- ⢠Serve as the primary point of contact for agents facing complex transaction challenges, providing timely, expert problem-solving assistance related to disclosures, offers, closings, and regulatory inquiries.
- ⢠Lead the creation, review, and continuous improvement of both company-wide and Saskatchewan-specific brokerage operations manuals, ensuring they reflect current laws, best practices, and technological tools.
- ⢠Drive innovation in brokerage operations by identifying inefficiencies and recommending digital solutionsâsuch as e-signature platforms, document management systems, and communication toolsâto streamline workflows and support a growing remote agent workforce.
- ⢠Leverage remote digital technology to facilitate virtual meetings, training sessions, document sharing, and real-time collaboration with agents and internal teams across Canada and the U.S., ensuring seamless operations despite geographic dispersion.
- ⢠About the team or company:
- ⢠Real is a technology-driven national real estate brokerage operating in all U.S. states, Canada, and Washington, D.C., committed to transforming the home buying and selling experience through innovation, agent empowerment, and data-driven tools.
- ⢠The company fosters a remote-first, collaborative culture where independent contractors like you are trusted to lead with expertise, supported by centralized resources, and empowered to make impactful decisions that scale across regions.
- ⢠What the person can learn or achieve in this role:
- ⢠Deepen your expertise in provincial real estate regulation and brokerage management while gaining exposure to a national, tech-forward brokerage model that blends local compliance with scalable innovation.
- ⢠Build leadership and influence by shaping the operational foundation for Realâs Saskatchewan agent community, directly contributing to agent retention, satisfaction, and business growth in a high-potential market.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠Active and in good standing real estate license in the province of Saskatchewan
- ⢠Minimum 3â5 years of experience as a licensed real estate agent, with demonstrated knowledge of Saskatchewan real estate law, contracts, and regulatory requirements
- ⢠Proven experience in mentoring, training, or managing real estate agents, preferably in a supervisory or broker-associate role
- ⢠Strong understanding of CREA standards, local board (e.g., Saskatoon, Regina) bylaws, and MLS participation rules in Saskatchewan
- ⢠Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide agents through complex transaction and compliance issues
- ⢠Proficiency with digital tools for remote collaboration (e.g., video conferencing, document sharing, CRM platforms) and a commitment to leveraging technology for operational efficiency
đď¸ Benefits
- ⢠Fully remote independent contractor role, allowing you to work from anywhere in Saskatchewan while serving agents across the province
- ⢠Opportunity to build and lead a regional brokerage support structure within a fast-growing, innovative national real estate brand
- ⢠Access to Realâs centralized resources, including legal, finance, and operations teams, to support your brokerage functions
- ⢠Professional autonomy to design and implement training, risk management, and operational improvements tailored to Saskatchewanâs market
