- • Manage and maintain the corporate desktop fleet, including deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Windows-based endpoints across all corporate locations.
- • Provide Tier 2 technical support for end-user desktop issues, including hardware failures, software malfunctions, network connectivity problems, and application errors.
- • Implement and enforce security policies through endpoint protection tools, patch management, and compliance monitoring to ensure alignment with corporate IT standards.
- • Deploy and configure standard desktop images using automated deployment tools to ensure consistency and reduce setup time across all user devices.
- • Collaborate with the CorpIT team to standardize hardware specifications, software licenses, and user environment configurations to improve operational efficiency.
- • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact end-user productivity.
- • Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams to source, receive, and distribute new hardware assets, ensuring timely replacement of aging or faulty equipment.
- • Document all support activities, configuration changes, and resolution steps in the IT service management system for auditability and knowledge sharing.
- • Assist in the migration of users to new operating systems or enterprise applications with minimal disruption to daily operations.
- • Support remote and hybrid employees by providing secure and reliable desktop access solutions, including VPN, remote desktop tools, and endpoint security configurations.
- • Work closely with the cybersecurity team to remediate vulnerabilities, enforce device encryption, and respond to security incidents involving endpoint devices.
- • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical desktop outages affecting business operations.
- • Train end users on new software deployments, security best practices, and self-service tools to reduce recurring support tickets.
- • Maintain accurate inventory records of all desktop hardware, software licenses, and asset tags in the corporate asset management system.
- • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding data protection, device usage, and IT asset management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proficient in Windows 10/11 deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
- • Experience with enterprise endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Jamf)
- • Strong knowledge of network protocols, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
- • Ability to document processes and maintain accurate asset records
- • Experience supporting remote and hybrid work environments
- • Familiarity with ITIL or IT service management frameworks
