- • As a Developer Experience Engineer for Kimchi, you will be the public face and voice of an open-source AI inference platform designed for agentic coding workloads, bridging the gap between developers and product by building community, creating technical content, and advocating for user needs.
- • Day to day, you will build public tutorials, demos, and integrations; engage with developers on Discord, GitHub, Reddit, and Hacker News; synthesize community feedback into actionable product insights; write technical content such as setup guides and benchmark analyses; speak at conferences and workshops; participate in product planning to represent the developer perspective; and identify friction points for new users to advocate for fixes.
- • Cast AI is a global automation platform that optimizes cloud-native and AI infrastructure at scale through autonomous decision-making in Kubernetes and cloud environments, serving over 2,100 companies including Akamai, BMW, and HuggingFace, and achieved unicorn status in January 2026 with a valuation exceeding $1 billion.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI inference, developer tooling, and community-driven product development; shape the voice and direction of an open-source project in a fast-moving space; gain influence in product decisions as a practitioner; and grow your technical communication and public speaking impact while working remotely with a diverse, international team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Built real software and can talk about it credibly, ideally with hands-on experience using agentic coding tools
- • Strong technical writer able to explain complex topics clearly without oversimplifying
- • Comfortable being the public face of a technical product through blog posts, talks, live demos, and community engagement
- • Understands the difference between marketing to developers and being genuinely useful to them
- • Would have found Kimchi interesting prior to seeing this job posting
- • Bonus: experience with Kubernetes, LLM inference, or developer tooling
