📋 Description

• As the Developer Relations Lead at Pluralis Research Ltd, you will serve as the critical technical bridge between cutting-edge decentralized AI research and the global ML/systems community, translating complex innovations in Protocol Learning into accessible, compelling narratives that drive adoption, collaboration, and trust in a mission to democratize frontier-scale AI development.
• You will own Pluralis’s technical voice across all public channels—crafting blog posts, Twitter/X threads, YouTube explainers, and conference talks that distill dense research on distributed training, communication-efficient model parallelism, and fault-tolerant optimization into clear, accurate, and engaging content for ML engineers, systems researchers, and crypto-native builders.
• Day-to-day, you will engage directly with the community on Discord, Twitter/X, Hacker News, Reddit (r/MachineLearning, r/LocalLLaMA), and niche Discords, building credibility by answering technical questions, sharing insights, and fostering relationships with key voices in decentralized compute and open-weight AI ecosystems.
• You will represent Pluralis at premier ML conferences including ICLR, ICML, and NeurIPS—delivering talks, running live demos of training runs, and networking with researchers to strengthen partnerships and surface emerging trends in decentralized training and open model development.
• You will improve the contributor experience for GPU participants in Pluralis’s training runs by creating clear documentation, onboarding guides, troubleshooting resources, and multimedia tutorials that lower barriers to participation and increase retention in the decentralized compute network.
• You will produce and edit video content such as paper walkthroughs, research explainers, and contributor tutorials, managing the YouTube channel to maximize reach and educational impact through consistent, high-quality multimedia storytelling.
• You will support partnership and press efforts by creating co-marketing materials, coordinating technical announcements with ecosystem allies, and providing accurate, compelling technical content for investor updates and media outreach when needed.
• You will own growth and analytics across all channels—tracking engagement metrics, running A/B tests on content formats, optimizing for discoverability, and reporting on community growth, content performance, and contributor pipeline to inform strategy and demonstrate impact.
• You will stay ahead of the curve by monitoring developments in decentralized training, open-weight releases, and frontier model development, feeding actionable insights to leadership to ensure Pluralis remains at the forefront of the conversation on open, collaborative AI.
• You will work closely with Pluralis’s research and engineering team—sourcing content directly from papers and experiments—while operating with high autonomy to define strategy, prioritize initiatives, and execute independently in a small, high-impact, remote-first team.
• You will grow your expertise in cutting-edge AI infrastructure, deepen your technical credibility in ML and systems communities, and leave a measurable mark on how the world understands and engages with decentralized AI—potentially shaping the future of open model development.

🎯 Requirements

• Technical depth sufficient to read and understand ML papers on distributed training, model parallelism, gradient compression, and fault-tolerant optimization—or the ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to explain complex technical systems clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences including PhD students, engineers, and crypto-native builders.
• 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations, technical marketing, developer education, or research-adjacent communication roles, with a demonstrable track record of producing technical content (blogs, talks, threads, videos) that is read, shared, and valued by technical communities.
