We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible DevOps Engineer II to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. This role is pivotal in implementing our next-generation infrastructure, working collaboratively with our development, SRE, and existing DevOps teams.
- • As a DevOps Engineer II, you will be instrumental in designing and scaling systems that meet stringent availability, performance, security, and scalability requirements for our AWS production environments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our critical platforms, including the Loyalty and Data platform that serves some of the world's largest restaurant brands.
- • You will be empowered to take ownership of the entire service lifecycle, from inception through implementation, ensuring we consistently deliver on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and critical business objectives. This role offers a rich engineering environment where creativity, continuous learning, and problem-solving are encouraged, all while directly contributing to tangible business outcomes.

- • Key responsibilities include scaling our systems and services through the strategic implementation of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines, leveraging infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, and executing gradual refactoring within an agile development framework. This proactive approach ensures our infrastructure remains adaptable and efficient.
- • Post-deployment, you will be responsible for maintaining services by diligently monitoring and measuring system health, including availability, latency, and overall application performance. This includes proactive identification and resolution of potential issues before they impact users.
- • A critical aspect of this role involves participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation for Level 2 and higher escalations, ensuring rapid response and resolution to production incidents. Following any incident, you will be expected to conduct thorough, blameless Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and postmortems to identify systemic improvements and prevent recurrence.
- • Implementing and rigorously practicing proper security controls and processes is paramount. You will actively contribute to maintaining a secure infrastructure by recommending and implementing enhancements to architecture and processes, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
- • You will play a key role in the definition, deployment, and maintenance of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring across our platform, providing essential visibility into system performance and health. This includes leveraging tools and techniques to gain deep insights into system behavior.
- • This role requires a proactive mindset towards identifying and recommending improvements for architecture and operational processes, driving efficiency and innovation within the team and across the organization. Your insights will help shape the future of our infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps roles, with a proven track record of implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud-based systems.
- • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or TravisCI, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (or Amazon ECS/Mesos).
- • Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Groovy) and strong shell scripting skills, with the ability to discern when to script versus develop.
- • Experience with infrastructure automation using configuration management tools (Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible) and in-depth knowledge of Linux operating system administration.
- • Production experience with Amazon AWS, including a solid understanding of its core services and best practices for building and managing scalable, highly available distributed systems.
