• • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to spearhead critical cloud infrastructure transformation initiatives at SpryPoint. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving the migration of our services from Elastic Beanstalk to Amazon ECS Fargate, transitioning our relational databases from RDS to Aurora Serverless v2, and championing the adoption of AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) using Python for infrastructure as code across our multi-tenant SaaS platform. You will collaborate closely with a talented team responsible for managing our extensive AWS infrastructure, rigorously applying the principles of the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure unparalleled reliability, robust security, and optimal performance at scale.

• • Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment of applications. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing container orchestration platforms like ECS, ensuring efficient resource utilization and high availability. A significant part of your role will involve developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CDK (Python), enabling repeatable and reliable infrastructure provisioning. You will also be tasked with migrating existing workloads to serverless and containerized environments, focusing on performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Monitoring and alerting systems will need to be designed and implemented to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact users. You will collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, ensuring seamless integration and operation. Security best practices will be paramount, requiring you to implement and maintain security controls within the AWS environment, adhering to compliance requirements. Performance tuning and cost optimization of AWS resources will be an ongoing focus, ensuring we deliver maximum value to our clients. You will also contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring business continuity.
