- • Join InvestorFlow as a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our cutting-edge financial technology platform. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to significant infrastructure and automation initiatives, working alongside seasoned engineers and reporting directly to the VP of DevOps. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency, reliability, and security across our enterprise-scale projects, leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.
- • As a key member of our team, you will be entrusted with independently handling complex technical tasks and actively participating in cross-functional projects that have a broad impact across multiple systems. Your contributions will directly influence the performance and scalability of our cloud-native platform, which serves over 175 clients, including some of the world's largest alternative asset managers.
- • **Key Responsibilities and Contributions:**
- • **Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Design and Implementation:** Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of robust IaC solutions using Terraform. You will be responsible for creating and managing infrastructure for enterprise-scale projects, focusing on modularity, reusability, and maintainability, including advanced state management techniques.
- • **CI/CD Pipeline Optimization:** Architect, build, and optimize sophisticated CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. Your work will support multiple development teams, enabling complex workflows and ensuring rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery.
- • **DevOps Culture and Best Practices:** Champion a strong DevOps culture by actively implementing industry best practices, sharing knowledge, and mentoring junior engineers. You will be a key contributor to fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across engineering teams.
- • **Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting:** Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using tools like Grafana and associated technologies. Ensure proactive identification and resolution of potential issues, maintaining high availability and performance of our platform.
- • **Cloud Infrastructure Optimization:** Drive initiatives to optimize cloud infrastructure across diverse environments, including Azure (preferred), AWS, and GCP. Focus on cost-efficiency, performance tuning, and resource management.
- • **DevSecOps Integration:** Integrate security scanning, compliance checks, and vulnerability management directly into CI/CD pipelines. Ensure our development process adheres to stringent security standards and compliance frameworks.
- • **Containerization and Orchestration:** Deploy and manage complex containerized applications at scale using Docker and Kubernetes. This includes cluster management, troubleshooting, and ensuring the stability of our microservices architecture.
- • **Advanced Deployment Strategies:** Implement and manage advanced deployment strategies such as Blue/Green, Canary, and Hot/Cold deployments for production applications, minimizing downtime and risk during releases.
- • **Architectural Collaboration:** Actively participate in architectural decision-making processes and technical design reviews with senior engineers. Provide valuable insights and contribute to the long-term technical vision of the platform.
- • **Incident Response and Post-Mortems:** Engage in critical incident response efforts, providing technical expertise to resolve production issues swiftly. Contribute to thorough post-mortem analyses to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
- • **Automation Initiatives:** Identify opportunities for automation across infrastructure management, deployment processes, and operational tasks. Drive the implementation of these automation solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- • **Cross-Team Collaboration:** Work closely with software development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient delivery of features and services.
- • **Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:** Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tooling. Actively share knowledge through presentations, workshops, and internal documentation.
