- • We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Support & Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a critical role where you will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our cloud and self-hosted Kubernetes-based infrastructure. You will act as a vital bridge between our engineering efforts and our vibrant user community, providing expert technical support and troubleshooting across various platforms.
- • Your primary responsibilities will involve providing advanced Tier-2 support for complex infrastructure issues. This includes deep dives into problems related to Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and other containerization technologies. You will be responsible for proactively monitoring our production environments, identifying potential bottlenecks, and swiftly resolving deployment, scaling, and performance-related challenges. Your ability to diagnose and fix issues will directly impact the user experience and the overall health of our platform.
- • A significant part of your role will be engaging with our community. You will triage and respond to issues reported by users on our Discord channels and GitHub repositories. This requires not only technical acumen but also exceptional communication skills to provide clear, detailed, and actionable guidance. You will be the first line of technical defense for our users, ensuring their issues are understood and resolved efficiently.
- • Furthermore, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our infrastructure through rigorous testing. This involves conducting comprehensive end-to-end testing of all infrastructure changes, including our CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. You will help ensure that new deployments are seamless and that our automated systems function as expected, minimizing the risk of introducing new issues.
- • Documentation is a crucial aspect of this role. You will be responsible for meticulously documenting support resolutions, creating detailed runbooks for common issues, and contributing to our internal knowledge base. This will empower both the support team and the wider engineering organization with the information needed to resolve problems quickly and consistently.
- • You will also collaborate closely with our engineering teams to identify areas for infrastructure improvement and contribute to the design and implementation of new solutions. Your insights from supporting the infrastructure and community will be invaluable in shaping the future of our platform. Additionally, you will participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents, ensuring the continuous availability of our services.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar infrastructure support role.
- • Strong proficiency with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker, including deployments, managing pods, services, and Helm charts.
- • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS or GCP preferred) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- • Proven ability to provide technical support and troubleshoot issues effectively via community platforms like Discord and GitHub, with excellent written communication skills.
- • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go for automation and troubleshooting.
